How Updating Works
Brick Books never installs an update without your say-so.
About once a day, when Brick Books starts, it checks whether a newer version is available.
If there is, you will see what changed and two options: Update Now or
Remind Me Later.
Update Now handles the whole update in one step. Brick Books downloads the new
version, verifies it against the fingerprint published on this site, closes, installs the update,
and opens again.
You can also download the latest version manually from the download page
and open it just as you did the first time.
Your books and documents are stored separately from the program, so updating Brick Books does
not replace or move them. Your existing books simply open in the new version.
Full details are in the terms.
